Hot/Cold therapy has been found to be very effective in easing pain and reducing swelling.

Instructions for cold therapy

• Place the gel pack in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour.
• Place the gel pack into your garment and wear as intended.
• After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use.

Instructions for hot therapy

Boiling instructions:

• Bring a pan of water to a boil and then move it away from the heat source.
• Place the gel pack in the pan of hot water for 8 to10 minutes.
• Remove the gel pack from the pan and place it into your garment and wear as intended.
• After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use.

Microwavable instructions:

• Place the gel pack in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven and heat at full power
  for 30 seconds. Repeat as necessary in 30 second increments until desired temperature is reached.
